SoapBae was born from my personal journey with eczema and sensitive skin. After years of struggling with harsh store bought products that left my skin irritated and uncomfortable, I decided to take matters into my own hands during the COVID lockdown. What began as late nights researching natural oils, butters, and herbs soon turned into creating my very first gentle bar of soap in the kitchen of my basement apartment in Staten Island, New York.
Using simple, nourishing ingredients like shea butter, oatmeal, aloe vera, and plant-based oils, I discovered that skincare could be both effective and kind to sensitive skin truly powered by nature. As friends and family began to experience the same relief, SoapBae naturally grew from a personal solution into a meaningful business.
Today, my partner and I work together as a team to handcraft all natural skincare products designed to support healthy, happy skin for all skin types. Our mission remains rooted in where it all began creating gentle, chemical free solutions for those who have struggled to find products that truly care for their skin.
